Data Retention and Deletion
How long Manage Repairs keeps different types of platform data.
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Active accounts
We keep account, shop, repair, customer, sales, inventory, website and settings data while the workspace is active so the shop can operate the service.
Closed or inactive accounts
When an account is closed or inactive, we may retain limited records for legal, billing, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, backup and operational reasons before deletion or anonymisation.
Workspace content
Repairs, customers, inventory, sales, website orders, images, forms, notes, settings and staff records are generally kept until the shop deletes them, exports and closes the account, or asks for deletion subject to legal and operational limits.
Customer and repair records
Shops control the retention of their own customer, repair, service, order and inventory records. Shops should delete records they no longer need and should keep their own legal archives where required.
Chat and support records
Support messages, chat questions and replies may be kept to resolve issues, review answer quality, identify confusing product areas and maintain a history of agreed support actions.
Analytics and security logs
Usage, login, location, error and security logs may be kept for a proportionate period to investigate faults, abuse, fraud, account misuse and platform reliability.
Backups
Backups may contain deleted or changed information until normal backup rotation completes. Immediate deletion from every backup copy is not always technically possible.
Payment and invoice records
Payment status, invoice references, plan history and billing identifiers may be retained for accounting, tax, dispute and subscription-management purposes.
Deletion requests
Account owners can request deletion or export help by contacting [email protected]. Deletion may be limited where we must keep records for legal, billing, security or dispute reasons.
Anonymised or aggregated data
We may keep anonymised, aggregated or non-personal statistics after account closure to understand product usage, reliability, regional demand and feature performance, provided it no longer identifies a shop customer or individual user.
